Hi there,

Just to give you an update on the release date.
Blood Bowl is now scheduled for Q2 2009 (read: June). I'm already hearing many of you screaming, but this is the best release date if we want to have a perfectly finished product.
Many of you have already seen the game running, some of you are part of the beta and can testify that the game is still under heavy development and going well. The turn based mode runs already very well and is enjoyable as it is. However, the real time mode is still not satisfying enough yet, and needs to be adjusted. This is an important part of the game if we want to reach players non familiar yet with Blood Bowl rules (take the real time mode as an introduction to the turn based one), and missing this one is not an option.

The website is coming in January, as well as new assets (videos, screenshots...).

I'm hearing your complaints about the lack of information coming from Focus on Blood Bowl, and we'll try to keep you informed on many aspects of the game once the website is up and running. Focus is definitely not dropping the ball here, as I stated previously, Blood Bowl is our main release for 2009 and the most ambitious one in the history of our company with a release on 4 differents platforms (PC, XBox 360, PSP, DS). Please stay assured that the title is receiving all the attention it needs internaly and we all want this game to be successfull, not only with hardcore Blood Bowl players but also with newcomers to the game.

So, if the release has been pushed back is there any chance there will be some more beta testing, perhaps for those of us who had the mis-fortune to not here about this until reciently? Seeing as how its gettin real hard to get anyone torn away from their puters to play the old school table top Blood Bowl any more.

Yeah let Darkson in. He's been here well before me and he has a huge knowledge of the game. Having him involved will only help the game IMO. Being outside the Beta is turning him into a curmudgeon... either that or he's moved in with Rich Dawg.... I miss ol' whiney baby Rich.

What really annoys me is that talking to various people I know on the beta (who have all taken care not to break their NDA), it sounds like many have dropped out or just aren't playing regularly, so why Cyanide haven't got shot of some of them and replaced (or added) them with those of us who are desperate to take part...
